Junior Gets A Radio Show

With the Nascar racing season approaching us fairly quickly the most popular driver in Nascar is going global. Dale Earnhardt Jr now has his own XM radio show. Juniors show will debut on channel 144 and he will discuss a variety of topics about Nascar and his life in general. When I first heard about the deal I was kind of surprised to hear about the arrangement he made. With the performance his race team turned in last year I thought he would have concentrated more on his team than worry about any radio show.

Junior is a vastly different than his dad was, and the results have definitely shown that. Dale really never had a lot of time for media and radio. His sole purpose was to win races and that’s what he cared about most, maybe that’s why he won all those Winston Cup Championships. Junior has taken a different path and is into things that his dad would never do. Is that good or bad? I guess in the end as long as Junior is enjoying what he is doing, it doesn’t really matter what we think of it. So, if you’re a Junior fan check out XM radio channel 144 for his show.
