Phoenix Suns

The Phoenix Suns are doing it again. How good is Steve Nash? He is the Most Valuable Player in the League. I know I’ve said Kobe Bryant’s season has been unbelievable, and it has; however, without Nash, the Phoenix Suns would be no where. With him, they are on top of the Pacific Division halfway through the season.

Many people blamed Nash’s success last year on the fact that he could give the ball whenever he wanted to Amare Stoudemire. Now he can’t and he is still dominating every team he goes up against. His passing skills are far superior to anyone else’s in the league. Plus, he can shoot the ball. He is averaging 19.1 points a game, shooting 48% from the floor and, get this, nearly 43% from beyond the 3-point line. On top of that, he makes his free throws (92.35%). Without him, the Suns are most likely fighting with the Kings for last in their division. He makes his offense better. He is a little ball of energy.

The Suns do give up over 100 points a game on defense, but for as fast as they play, that is expected. Teams get more shots when they play the Suns, because Nash is always pushing the ball. If you are going to beat the Suns, you are going to have to put up close to 110 points. It’s a track race every game.
